Welcome to Creich and Flisk Community Council
Creich and Flisk
The Community Council Area of Creich and Flisk is formed by the fusion of two small parishes. This is an entirely rural district located within the exceptionally attractive rolling countryside of North Fife. Creich and Flisk enjoys a magnificent setting adjacent to the River Tay and incorporates several distinctive hills within the eastern offshoot of the Ochils which includes Norman's Law. Beside the Tay there is a narrow strip of flatter more fertile land. The entire area is designated as being of Great Landscape Value and it now forms the heart of the Tay Coast Local Landscape Area.
The main settlements include Luthrie and the small Conservation Village of Brunton together with scattered smaller settlements.

Chair's Report
At the meeting on 3rd September 2025 the following Chair's report was tabled.
The primary achievement of the members has been to ensure the continuation of the Community Council with a full quota of Councillors. This is some accomplishment in a Community Council area with a total adult population of around 200. Specifically, the Council has, in the past year, achieved the following outcomes.
1. Facitiatated repairs to the swing in Luthrie playpark.
2. Originated the new picnic bench in Luthrie playpark.
3. Funded the sign for the hall garden.
4. Contributed to the potential repositioning of the speed limit signs in Luthrie.
5. Progressed with 20mph speed limit in Luthrie and Brunton.
6. Had discussions for creation of a warm space in the hall.
7. Investigated further the potential for Community Speed Watch signs.
The challenges ahead include engaging more of our community and bring about solid and lasting achievements.
